Welcome to Pantry Raiders, where we highlight our community shelfies and get to know each other a bit more, pantry items want to be seen!
Tara Pate is the founder of Daysie- a certified organic line of simple syrups for coffee and occasions. She calls Charleston, SC home, and after having spent the last 4 years in SF building other brands she finally decided to take the plunge and build my own. Wish her luck?
1) What are your pantry staples?
Omsom on repeat. I make a bowl of some sort at least 1x a week and if I'm feeling particularly extra I do some Fly By Jing dumplings as an app. Feelin’ saucy? I use a little Duke’s mayo (‘cause I am from the south) with FBJ chili crisp chefs kiss Brightland Oishi Berry Vinegar—game changer. I start every day with Daysie syrup in my latte (no shame in my plug) because it brings ME joy. When I’m in a hurry I use Jot for my coffee concentrate. Blender Bombs for bomb.com smoothies—they really nailed their name.
2) What have been the latest additions to your pantry?
Recently unboxed Red Clay hot sauce margarita salt and got my new shipment of Granola Butter OHHH and my Chai from Diaspora just arrived so I can’t wait to dig into her.
3) Tell us ONE thing we would NEVER find in your pantry.
Anything with the word “diet.”
